What Is Advent?

The Light Has Come, Our New Year Has Begun

The Advent season marks the beginning of our Christian year. The four weeks before Christmas build our anticipation for everything we’ve hoped for, and it all culminates at a manger scene. Join us as we intentionally walk through this Christmas season together.

Join us to celebrate the light of the world on Sunday, December 22nd. We will have worship, a special kids program, and a community potluck after the service. Bring a dish to share if you have the means, or just bring yourself if that's what you can do.

Our Christmas season culminates at our annual Carols By Candlelight service filled with carols, Scripture readings, and quiet contemplation. Bring your family and friends as we reflect on the miracle of Christ's birth, and light candles to symbolize the light of Christ shining in the darkness.

  • What time is the candlelight service?

    Our carols by candlelight service is on December 23rd at 6PM. There is no formal childcare during this service.

  • What time is the Christmas service?

    Our Christmas is on December 22nd at 10:30am. Bring your entire family and a friend as well! There is a self-serve nursey for this service, but no formal childcare available due to the kids program. After the service join us for a community potluck.

  • Do I need to bring anything to the potlock?

    Bring a dish to share if you have the means, or just bring yourself if that's what you can do. Either way, we can’t wait to share a meal with you!

  • What should I wear?

    Come exactly as you are - don’t dress up or down for anyone.
